Welcome!

As you know, I'm Alyssa Jones. I'm currently the Park Interpreter/Interpretive Ranger at a historic site in South Carolina.

I also absolutely love researching different topics and creating brochures, exhibits, and indoor and outdoor panels (aka waysides). That work is a bit limited at my current job as the site is focused on just a small piece of history with only the primary sources from a few property owners. Although histories and cultures around the world are fascinating, I'd like to primarily focus on South Carolina and Georgia sites and museums.

I'll be using this blog to update everyone on which projects I'm working on and posting photographs of any finished projects (if permissions allow). There will also be Redcliffe photographs as it is a beautiful site and my home base, for now. The ranger position keeps me busy sometimes, so I will also be posting any important dates that will require me to only be a ranger.
